Few things spark as much joy as learning for me. I remember asking a teacher in middle school how I could become a better writer, she told me: “read.”
I hadn’t made the connection until recently. As I read more I become better at observing the things around me. Writing is the glue that brings together ‘real-world’ experiences and concepts I’ve read.
If there’s one activity that’s changed the course of my life, it’s reading. I’d recommend you start and if you find the things you like it’ll be hard to stop.
