While writing the post on selective memory, I wondered how I could avoid false positives. If memories can be deceiving due to the present emotional state then documenting is a way to more accurately judge past feelings.
I use this blog and my notes app to document emotions, events, and interactions I have with others. Although I seldom look back at them it’s useful to have.
The act of writing helps me process emotions and feelings. Documenting via writing also helps me reflect more and react less.
