When was the last time you were delighted when using a product or service someone else created?
Today, I discovered brb.chat, it’s an app that enables asynchronous audio sharing.
An evolution in audio-first communication.
While using it, I felt like I was able to communicate in a way I had never before. Sending voice memos on iMessage, FB messenger, and whatsapp doesn’t make me feel the same way as using brb does. A standalone app for voice communication.
Visualizing my Snapchat profile on brb made it feel like a familiar experience. The simplicity of being able to send async voice messages back and forth made me want to keep going back to use the product.
Experiencing something new is rare. I’m excited to see the next generation of audio-first social products.
Using brb felt like getting a taste of the future.
